Leigh Young, owner and designer of Pandemonium Accessories, started Pandemonium as a custom clothing design house in 1992. After earning an Apparel Design degree from Seattle Central Community College, she worked tirelessly to acquire as much design-industry knowledge as possible. Young started her career creating Las Vegas-Style Show Girl costumes for Gregg Thompson Productions. She went on to create fun, novelty hats, as well as learn more conventional millinery techniques, with WE Hats (a line she now owns and designs for). In her time off, however, she was designing & showing her own original work at local fashion shows and charity events.


Armed with her education, varying experiences, and inspired by the impeccably-dressed women of the 1920’s, Young was eventually able to quit her extra jobs and focus on her own line. Young soon created an entire line of hats, handbags, and fashion accessories that emphasized the use of soft textures, faux furs, velvets, and tactile upholstery fabrics. The Pandemonium brand is now a growing line of fashion accessories and clothing available to the wholesale market throughout the United States and parts of Canada.


Pandemonium prides itself on being hand sewn in the USA and paying real wages. It is a brand that strives to give its customers a quality, handcrafted product they can feel good about selling on Main Street, USA. Pandemonium’s workforce is largely composed of family, friends, and long-time colleagues; it’s diverse, multigenerational, and adaptable – able to literally and figuratively wear many hats. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Pandemonium temporarily transitioned into making masks for Providence hospital (over 70,000!), enabling us to stay safe, do our part to help, and keep our people working.  With that project now complete, we continue to make face masks, now reusable for the general public.  

Pandemonium’s small team works very hard to make the company successful. As Pandemonium has grown, Young has emphasized the need to retain a small company feel for her brand. This allows for attention to detail, customization, and the opportunity to build one-on-one relationships with her valued customers.
