Angeline Alice Millinery
Angeline Alice Millinery is named after her two grandmothers, Angeline Freichels (1902-1991) and Alice Grubich (1915-1975) who lived in an era where it was proper etiquette for women to wear hats.
Kelly was born in St. Paul, Minnesota but has called Bemidji, Minnesota home since 2004. Her mother, LaVanche Freichels (1942-1989), taught her to sew at age eight and the rest is history.
Kelly’s passion for making fascinators came from watching the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29, 2011. Since then, Kelly has made hundreds of unique fascinators, hatinators, headpieces, hair accessories and hats. Some of her favorite embellishments and textiles to use are feathers from birds native to Minnesota, ribbon, buttons, brooches, crystal beads, rhinestones, tulle, sinamay, lace, silk, satin, wool, and brocade. Every item she makes is unique and you will never find another one exactly like it.
Kelly can also be commissioned for custom headpieces for any holiday or occasion. For inquiries, click ask a question
